First and foremost, cosmetic dentistry helps you feel great about your smile and your appearance. If you’re suffering from cosmetic issues like teeth stains, gapped teeth, chipped teeth, misshapen teeth or any other such problems, you may feel uncomfortable when you smile, speak or even eat among others. Cosmetic dentistry can help you restore your smile and your self-confidence.
In addition, it can help improve your oral health. A straighter, more even smile is easier to clean, and patients who have invested in cosmetic treatment are more likely to brush and floss regularly and maintain their bi-annual cleanings and oral exams.
If you’re living in Ambler and are interested in cosmetic dentistry, Dr. Lana Waibel is here to help. As a highly-qualified, expert cosmetic dentist, Dr. Waibel can work with you to help you achieve the smile you’ve always wanted. With a variety of services available for every need and every budget, the team at Waibel Dental is here to help.
Teeth whitening uses peroxide-based whiteners that break the bonds that hold stains and yellowing onto your teeth, “bleaching” the stains away and restoring the natural white of your enamel. We offer both in-office and take-home teeth whitening treatments. Both methods are equally effective, and you can choose between getting rapid results or treating yourself in the comfort of your own home. We are proud to be able to offer Zoom teeth whitening products for dramatic, yet sensitivity-free whitening. It is the only whitening system that is specially formulated to treat even tetracycline staining.
Have you had white spots on your teeth since you got your braces off? Or maybe you’ve had those pesky discolored spots all your life. With Icon treatment, Dr. Waibel can remove white spots, or scars on your enamel, without drilling and within an hour. This revolutionary treatment is completely painless and can help improve the aesthetics of your natural smile.
Dental veneers are thin, porcelain shells designed to cover up the front surfaces of your teeth. By doing so, they cover the imperfections of your teeth and enhance the beauty of your smile. Veneers usually last 10-15 years or longer with proper care. Because they’re made of porcelain, they’re also stain-resistant, and often require little special care beyond regular brushing and flossing.
What to Expect: (5 Appointments)
We'll discuss your smile goals and evaluate your treatment plan. Next, we will take photos and impressions, and send these to our partner lab to make molds of your teeth.
In about two weeks you'll come in to test out the mockups of your veneers and check the look and feel of your new smile.
After any necessary adjustments to the temporary veneers are made, we'll prepare your teeth for placement and take final impressions. We will place your temporary veneers while your custom porcelain veneers are crafted at our trusted lab.
In a couple weeks, you'll return to try out the porcelain veneers. We'll check to ensure a perfect, seamless fit and make sure you love the look and feel of your new smile.
One month later, once you've had time to adjust to your veneers, you'll come back so we can make any necessary final adjustments and take final photos of your beautiful smile.
Tooth wear from acidic drinks or hard-to-break grinding habits can be debilitating- it can lead to TMJ issues, migraines, and chronic toothache. We use special diagnostic tools to determine the root of the problem and recommend the best option for treatment.
During your consultation, Dr. Waibel will examine your bite and discuss your smile goals with you. Using her expertise and an understanding of your preferences, she can put together a customized treatment plan that will provide you with the results you want while accommodating your lifestyle and your budget.
What to expect:
We will take a 3D scan of your teeth, professional photographs, and collect all the necessary data for the thorough diagnosis. Additional consultation will be recommended to present a digital design of your dream smile. It may take up to 2 months to regain your perfect smile as we meticulously work on every single step of the treatment with our local master ceramists.
We understand that such treatments can be an investment, but a healthy, beautiful smile and powerful, life changing results are worth the upfront cost. Plus, we do our best to keep care within your budget by offering our patients an in-house discount payment plan.
Dental bonding uses a tooth-colored dental resin, which will be applied directly to your teeth. Dr. Waibel will shape and sculpt this resin until the desired appearance is achieved. The process is fast, affordable, and non-invasive, making it an ideal choice for most patients who are interested in trying out cosmetic dentistry.
As a dentist, Dr. Waibel has a deep knowledge of facial anatomy and structure. That’s why we’re the best choice in Ambler if you’re interested in Botox or facial fillers such as Juvederm. Dr. Waibel can target problem areas of your face, neck and surrounding areas with Botox and fillers, and provide you with consistent, long-lasting results.
